 Listening to voicemail messages  Top
How do I listen to a voicemail message?
In order to listen to your voicemail with your Web browser, your PC must have a sound card and speakers. If you have ever heard any type of beep or noise coming from your PC, then you have a sound card and speakers already. Also, your browser must be set up to handle sound files in the wav format (files with a ".wav" extension) by using an audio player, such as:
  • Microsoft's Windows Media Player - This program should come pre-installed on all Windows 95/98/NT 4.0/2000/XP PC's and will also work on some Macintosh PC's as well. If it is not installed on your PC, you can download it for free by clicking here, and then clicking the "Download Windows Media Player" link on the resulting page.
  • Apple's QuickTime - This program works on Macintosh as well as Windows 95/98/NT 4.0/2000/XP PC's. You can download it for free by clicking here.
  • RealPlayer - This program by RealNetworks works on Windows 95/98/NT 4.0/2000, Macintosh, Unix, Red Hat Linux, and SCO. You can download it for free by clicking here.
Problems loading u800 Web pages  Top
The cache is the location on your computer's hard disk where Web pages and files (such as graphics) are stored as you view them. This speeds up the display of pages you frequently visit or have already seen, because your browser can open them from your hard disk instead of from the Web.

If you are having a problem getting a uReach page to load, it may be because your cache contains an old version of the page and is trying to load that instead of the newer version. By clearing the cache you are forcing your browser to go to the Web and download a new copy of your page.

To clear your disk cache, follow the instructions below for your preferred browser:

Windows Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0

  1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options....
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. Under Browsing history, click Delete....
  4. Next to Temporary Internet Files, click Delete files....
  5. Click Close, and then click OK on the "Internet Options" window.

Mozilla Firefox 3.0

  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.
  2. Check Cache.
  3. Click Clear Private Data Now.

Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, select Empty Cache....
  2. When prompted, click Empty to confirm that you want to empty the cache.
